Should Homeschooling Be Illegal? Parade Magazine Poll
Paul | June 4, 2008Parade Magazine’s Intelligence Report is featuring a poll inspired by the California state appeals court ruling that home education is illegal unless the parents have reaching credentials. In fact, they said “parents do not have a constitutional right to home-school their children.”
Obviously the poor judge went to public school. Public schools didn’t exist, nor did any government-run education for minors when the Constitution was written. So how could parents be dined the right to educate their kids at home, if that was the only option for many families at the time of the framing of the Constitution?
Anyway, the poll can be found here. Make your voice heard.
